Terms of Use & Community Guidelines
Reclist is a place for keeping the places you love and sharing Lists with people you trust. By creating an account or using Reclist you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. You must accept the current version of these Terms before an account is created, and again if we change them materially.
1. Your content
You own what you create on Reclist: Lists, the places you add, personal notes, your profile and your photo. You give Reclist a licence to store, display and share that content according to the privacy setting you choose for each List (Public, Friends, Private). You are responsible for what you post.
2. Community guidelines — zero tolerance
Reclist has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Do not post, and do not use Reclist to send or promote:
- Harassment, bullying, threats, or content that targets a person or group with hate on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion, nationality, disability, gender, sexual orientation, age or similar characteristics.
- Sexually explicit content, pornography, or content that sexualises minors in any way.
- Graphic violence, content that glorifies violence or self-harm, or credible threats.
- Spam, scams, impersonation, misleading commercial content, or content that infringes someone else's rights.
- Content that promotes illegal activity, or personal data about other people without their consent.
Text you post is screened automatically before it is saved; profile photos are reviewed by a person before other users can see them. Screening is a floor, not the standard: the guidelines above apply to everything.
3. Reporting and blocking
Every List, place note and profile has a Report action in its menu (tap or long-press the item, or the profile menu). Reports go straight to Reclist's moderation queue with a copy of the content as evidence.
You can Block any account from its profile or from any of its Lists. Blocking is immediate and one-way: their Lists, notes and profile disappear for you everywhere in the app, you stop following them, and they cannot start new interactions with you. They are not told. You can unblock from Profile → Settings → Blocked accounts.
4. Enforcement
We review every report and act on violations within 24 hours: offending content is removed or hidden, and accounts that break these guidelines are suspended or permanently removed, at our discretion and without prior notice. Suspended accounts lose access immediately and their content is hidden. Every moderation decision is logged.
5. Accounts
You must be at least 13 years old to use Reclist and provide accurate information. Keep your credentials safe; you are responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time in Profile → Settings → Delete account.
6. Place data
Place details, opening hours, ratings and photos come from Google Places and are provided "as is". Always check with the venue before you go.
7. Changes, liability, contact
We may update these Terms; material changes require your acceptance again in the app. Reclist is provided "as is" without warranties, and to the extent permitted by law Reclist is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service.
Questions, complaints or appeals about a moderation decision: use the Report action in the app, or write to legal@reclist.app. See also Support.
